Dr. Strasser trimming a very sore foundered horse at the Ontario July 7-9, 2001 clinic, using an improvised sling. Denise McLain holding foot. A wide Western roping girth was used, along with a block and tackle, singletree, and nylon straps, to take some weight off to enable trimming this sore horse more comfortably and humanely.
